Alma Rose was a Jewish-Austrian violinist. Deported by order of the Nazis to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, where she founded and conducted the women’s orchestra in Auschwitz. Probably died of food poisoning. Join us for the commemoration of the Alma-Rosa ensemble
